Self-portraits

digital photography / 2018-2019

In these self-portraits, I cultivate a profound connection between myself, the camera and the domestic environment. Rather than rediscovering my own identity, I dissolve before lens. The relationship between my body and the camera is indefinable and unconscious. The bod’s communicability becomes a hybrid of sensuality and abstraction, an ongoing suspended exploration that presents it-self as a constantly evolving form. Without complete awareness, my self-portraits change subconsciously, shaped by the ebb and flow of mood, thoughts, and daily inspirations. My approach remains self-contained, residing in the enigmatic essence of each passing day.
