The discontinuity of reality, that is the non-manifestation of the supernatural continuously, was the main thought shared by the world of philosophy and science of the 1600s.
In particular, the Scottish Presbyterian minister Robert Kirk firmly believed in the tales of people with second sight that explain the existence of fairies. Inspired by Robert Kirk’s Secret Commonwealth and the turbid and confused thinking of that era about natural magic, I try to make reality elusive and unusual with an optical illusion created by a cube of mirrors.
